The Medical Laboratory Technician Department is one of the medical departments at Kurdistan Technical Institute established in (2018), considering all scientific standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Region.

From the beginning of its establishment, the department has endeavored to give special importance to providing all essential aspects of education that are required in any advanced scientific and academic center. These include a healthy environment, a modern and international education system, and capable and skilled staffs.

The department\\\\\'s program is in line with international developments in the field of medical science and laboratory. It focuses on the latest theoretical knowledge and practical skills to properly prepare students for the world of work in laboratories.

The Medical Laboratory Technician Department plays an important and effective role in training skilled and competent graduates who actively participate in the development of the health sector in Sulaimani and the region in general.
