Question Bank Tutorial + Midterm Exam Guidelines

Important Update Regarding 4th Semester Midterm Examinations and the KTI Question Bank System

Hello dear lecturers,

For your information, the 4th-semester midterm examinations are approaching. According to the institute\\'s new guidelines and programs, all course questions for all departments must now be designed through the institute\\'s dedicated Question Bank System.

The purpose of this system is to ensure fairness in assessments by aligning questions with international standards in terms of design, quantity, and difficulty levels. Under this system, the lecturer uploads a pool of questions, and the system then randomly selects them for the students. Additionally, the system can automatically generate multiple versions of the exam.

For the midterms, students will be presented with four types of questions: True/False, Multiple Choice (MCQs), Matching, and Essay/Short Answer. The grading criteria, writing style, and design for each question type are detailed in the attached guidelines. Please read them carefully before you begin writing your questions to avoid the need for later revisions.

I have included a tutorial video below on how to use the system. By now, accounts should have been created for all of you, and you should have received your username and password via your official institute email.

Below, I am sharing the link to the system and the video tutorial on how to access and use it. Also, I am sharing a document with the guidelines to design the questions.

Best regards,
