7 Most Effective Study Techniques

Since childhood, we have been taught that constant studying and effort are the keys to getting high marks and perfect scores in all subjects. While this might be true for many, for others—despite studying hard and putting in a lot of effort—they still haven\'t achieved the grades they wanted. If you are reading this, you might be one of those people.

In reality, the way you study needs to change depending on the subject you are learning and the task at hand. What does that mean? For example, a subject like history requires memorization and a brain that can quickly recall information. In contrast, a subject like math requires you to understand different equations and rules, and to know which formula to apply in which situation.

Therefore, if you use the same study technique for both types of subjects, you might find yourself unable to understand the questions or answer them well enough to get full marks. This leads to frustration and the mistaken belief that you are just lazy.

You aren\'t taught the techniques mentioned here in school or university. You may have seen people here and there using one of these techniques unconsciously, and you might have tried to copy them. But because you didn\'t know which technique was suitable for which subject, you may not have been successful.

So here, I will tell you the names and methods of these techniques, as well as which technique is best for each subject.
